For those interested in putting an event on at The Tempo Hotel please take a moment and answer the following questions.
What is the event’s name?
What is the idea behind the event?
What are your expectations, attendance wise?
What are your ideas on the event money-wise? (cover charge, free admission with band guarantee, etc.)
If it’s a paid event will you be staffing the door with your own people?
Will you provide a stage manager?
Will you provide you own soundman? (please note we have an in-house PA and will provide a back line of drums-no cymbals, guitar amp and bass rig)
Is there any event artwork?
How will you promote the event? Please break down into categories – (written press, radio, posters, etc.)
Can you briefly describe the bands, (acoustic duo, electric three-piece, five piece band with horn section, etc.)
What genres do the band’s music occupy?
Do the bands play only original material?
Do the band’s have any on-line presence?
If so, please send links to that relevant on-line presence (band websites, MySpace pages, YouTube clips etc.)
Do the band’s have good quality colour high-resolution images?
Can you provide well-written press releases for all the bands?
Are there any previous venues that you have staged events at that we can contact?
