The Bowler Bar is an exclusive underground escape from the chaotic streets of Fortitude Valley. If you are after a classy yet trendy venue to spend your evening, The Bowler Bar is the place to be. The Bowler Bar is located on Brunswick Street, underneath the Tempo Hotel. This downstairs club has an “industrial chic” theme, with stairs leading to a small, yet spacious room with limited lighting where you can socialize, pick up, or dance the night away. The decor has an underground basement atmosphere with brick walls, artistic graffiti and limited lighting. The music is a fusion of indie-techno, which suits the crowd Bowler Bar draws in. The dark secluded booths around the edge of the room can be used to chat, drink or hook up. The toilets also feature a furry wall to observe or soothingly stroke after a couple of drinks.

The Bowler Bar draws in young hipster/indie demographic. Most of people dress with a trendy preppy style, with most dressing classy with an indie edge. Like most clubs in Brisbane, Bowler Bar accommodates the 18 – 25 crowds. However, it is more of a sophisticated and chic club, with a dash of casual. The best appeal of the Bowler Bar is that it is still a new bar, so no big lines at the bar and a full, yet not crowded club.
